Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been released from AIIMS hospital in Delhi where she was undergoing treatment for a stomach infection.
The 63-year-old BJP leader was admitted to the premier medical institute on Monday with symptoms of viral fever and stomach infection.
Ms Sitharaman was in a private ward of the hospital, a source said.
Ms Sitharaman had on Saturday attended the 35th annual convocation of The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University in Chennai.
Ms Sitharaman had also paid floral tributes to former prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on his birth anniversary at ‘Sadaiv Atal’ in New Delhi on December 25.
